One Tree Planted for every Handbag

We are on a race against the clock to fight climate change and we need to act now. One of the ways in which we can help our planet, is to fight deforestation and restore forests. According to scientists, forests are crucial for our planet's recovery, due in big part because of their help absorbing carbon from the atmosphere and creating clean air.  On the other side, deforestation is responsible for 17% of the CO2 emissions causing climate change. The Fashion Industry is responsible for 150 million trees being cut down every year to be turned into textiles such as viscose and rayon. Imagine the impact this has on the planets biodiversity loss and climate change.

As part of our commitment to the planet, we want to help fight deforestation and try to offset our CO2 emissions, which is why we have partnered with Tree Nation to plant a tree for every Sambar product sold. Planting one single tree, can help offset up to 250 kg of CO2. So far, with your help we have helped offset 8.68 tons CO2 by planting trees in India, Nepal, Tanzania, Colombia, USA, Madagascar and France,
